Pilot in Peterborough
Together with partners, Peterborough Museum and Soulfood Productions, and with funding from Google.org through the ISD, we initiated a pilot in August 2018. The project explores ‘what it is to be a Peterborian today’ to mark the 900th anniversary of the city and its cathedral.
People from all over Peterborough and the surrounding towns are contributing their stories in 1 and 2 minute video shorts that will live on in the museum archives to tell and retell our collective history for decades to come. We will also be celebrating these stories at the Hidden Stories Final Event at the museum in December.
A team of StoryTheCity storytellers are currently offering Storytelling workshops using Augusto Boal theatrical techniques between now and the end of November to help Peterborians frame and tell their stories. They will also be out across the streets of Peterborough with mics! Stay up to date on when these are taking place and register to participate through https://vivacity.org/storythecity
